I started Taylor Flooring in 1994, after ten years in the wholesale flooring world. My goal was to create a store that had the best quality and the best service of any flooring store in the region. With the help of my amazing team of employees, we've met that goal, and a lot of great customers along the way.

Now with four locations and two mobile units, we can offer you even more selection and convenient installation service. John Wells: General Sales Manager

I spent four years building a shop at home flooring franchise business in Metro Halifax and then joined Taylor Flooring in 2001. Since then we have expanded our Mobile Division to cover Halifax Metro, Cape Breton and the Annapolis Valley regions. In 2004 I took on the role of General Sales Manager for all divisions and today am overseeing sales, training, recruiting, and business development.

At Taylor Flooring we have built our reputation on service.

As General Sales Manager it's my goal to inspire our team to deliver unique and uncompromised quality. Not just quality of products, but quality of experience.

Our core values dictate our decision making process that places reputation before revenue. We have proven that quality will produce quantity and therefore we believe in delivering on our commitments. Jim Connolly: Dartmouth Store Sales Manager

Our industry, like most, is changing. So here at Taylor Flooring we like to set ourselves apart by concentrating not only on flooring finishes but also on laminate countertop colors, paint colors, and any other contributing factors that compliment the interior design concept. I started my career in the flooring industry over 25 years ago, and have held positions in the retail and wholesale manufacturing sides of the business. For eight of those years, I was contract sales manager for Canadas largest carpet manufacturer. At Taylor Flooring, I am responsible for our commercial sales division, ensuring professional installations and a keen sense of urgency to make sure our clients are completely satisfied.
